Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company (HBC) is planning to invest € 11 million in 2014 in Greece, with a view to enhancing the efficiency of domestic production units, where 98 percent of the products available in the Greek market are produced.

According to the announcement, Coca-Cola HBC will invest €3 million in the production plant in Aigio, Peloponese, for the upgrade of its mechanical equipment and facilities. The company will also make investments of €8 million in Schimatari, Viotia, aiming to improve management of energy and water resources and further boost production capacity. Over the last four years, investments of €18 million have been made at the unit.

The manufacturing unit of the company in Volos remains one of the main production units of the company in Greece and will now focus on the production of soft drinks.
