Five Thessaloniki museums celebrate the city’s culinary culture and participate at the Thessaloniki Food Festival with "Yummy Museum." Starting from December 3, the museum restaurants will be serving five menus inspired by five works of art exhibited at each of the museums. The Archaeological Museum, the Byzantine Museum, the Tellogleion Foundation the State Museum of Contemporary Art and the Macedonian Museum of Contemporary Art participate at the event.

The Archaeological Museum draws inspiration by the splendid mural of the Agios Athanasios tomb to create a minimal Byzantine symposium.

The Byzantine Museum recreates the "Ariston," the Byzantines’ lunch, as described in the 11th century "Ptochodromics." The Macedonian Museum of Contemporary Art has created a colorful menu inspired by Takis’ work "Signals." "The Drinking Woman" by Solomon Nikritin and the Russian avant-garde serve as a source of inspiration for the menu proposed by the State Museum of Contemporary Art. The menus will be available at the museums’ restaurants until December 15.
