Greece will be the country of honour at the Swiss Salon of Gastronomy "Goûts et Terroirs," which is organized by Canton of Fribourg in the city of Bulle, Switzerland, (near Berne in the district of Gruyère). The 2013 edition of this exhibition will run from November 27 to December 1.
The gastronomic salon is expected to welcome approximately 44,000 visitors. As part of the exhibition, guests will be invited to sample exquisite tastes "Ateliers du Goût," and naturally, the unavoidable “Greedy Arena” ("Arène Gourmande,"), animated by personalities and renowned chefs. The Greek pavilion will host exhibitors, food tasting booths, and product displays include olive oil from Mytilene and Kalamata, Crocus from Kozanis, (Greek red saffron) and wine from of two wineries in northern Greece.
