The 6th Athens StartUp Weekend was held on February 15-17, with the participation of numerous Greek startup businesses and loads of innovative ideas. The first prize for the best startup went to FR8 team for their Evolving Transit project, an online logistics market. The application allows businesses and consumers to view all available trucks in a given area for a given time and send a request for a load.

The objective is to reduce costs for both consumers and senders on the basis of a consumer to consumer approach. Startup Weekend is a global network of leaders and entrepreneurs that aim to share ideas, form teams, and launch startups, and its Athens edition is a leading startup event in Greece.
