A Greek online project has brought a unique innovation to the global marine tourism industry and has recently been rewarded for its innovative approach. Incrediblue is an online marketplace for marine tourism, connecting boat owners and crew with travellers.

V Boat owners can use the platform in order to list their boat while prospective renters can make buying decisions based on price, photos, location, availability and user reviews, allowing people to book a boat as they would an apartment. There is also a special section where skippers and crew can find maritime jobs.

This innovative approach to marine tourism has recently won first prize in the HowToWeb festival, which took place in Bucharest, Romania. HowToWeb is an annual web business and technology conference, which has become the largest e-business fair in South Eastern Europe.
