- Christmas Events @ Acropolis Museum
The Carols that children sang in ancient Greece, the presents they then exchanged and the olive tree they decorated, are among the things that children will encounter at the workshops organized at the Acropolis Museum on December 22, 23, 29 and 30. Moreover, Marios Strofalis will play Christmas musical stories from the animal kingdom and New music tales.
The event will take place in the balcony of the second floor that overlooks the Archaic Gallery, on December 23.
On December 29 the Children’s Choir and the Mixed Choir of the Kodaly Conservatory will present Christmas Carols and popular Christmas songs in the ground floor lobby of the Museum, across from the Hekatompedos pediment.
- Activities for Children @ Nat' Museum of Contemporary Art
The artist Alexander Georgiou invites children with their parents at the National Museum of Contemporary Art on December 22 and January 5, to create a temporary installation with materials found in the museum surroundings.On December 29, Helena Akila organizes a toy-making workshop. Finally, on January 3 children, inspired by Dilek Winchester's work, Geometry of Life, are invited to create their first video-art works.

The Default Company tries to answer the question of what would we do if we woke up one day and all colours were gone: we’d rush to the ends of the world in search of the Rainbow to bring them back—because life’s unbearable in black and white.

The Rosarte Children Choir will sing Carols and Christmas tunes at the Athens Concert Hall, from December 23.
Their repertoire will also include works by Benjamin Britten, John Rutter, Bob Chilcott, Eric Whitacre and others.
Lavay Smith, the acclaimed swing-rhythm ‘n’ blues diva, is celebrating Christmas at the Half Note Jazz Club till December 27.
In her particular bluesy voice, she revives the atmosphere of the 30s and 40s, along with the group Red Hot Skillt Lickers.

- The Camerata @ Onassis Cultural Centre
The Camerata, accompanied by the City of Athens mixed choir, plays Haydn’s masterpiece The Creation, using early 19th-century period instruments, at the Onassis Cultural Centre, on December 27.
Three leading Greek opera singers sing the Angels, who describe the six days of Creation, and the first couple, Adam and Eve: director of the Greek National Opera, Myron Michailidis will conduct.
