Fuel Fandango, famous for their distinctive music,bring their signature electronic flamengo sound to Athens for the first time.

 The band - composed by former Mojo Project member and star DJ Ale Acosta and Cordoba singer Nita, who define their music as "organic dance songs" - will perform at the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation on June 13. The concert is organized by the Spanish embassy.

Béjart Ballet Lausanne@Badminton
    Béjart Ballet Lausanne comes to Athens Badminton Theatre from June 6 to 10.

    The renowned ballet company will present a  dazzling, three-fold dance show: Dionysos, the company’s tribute to Greece with music by Manos Hadjidakis and costumes by Gianni Versace, Gil Roman’s Syncope and Maurice Béjart’s legendary Bolero.

    • Lautreamont/Maldoror
    New romantic Athens-based dance group Bijoux de Kant present a performance based on Les Chants Of Maldoror by Le Comte De Lautréamont, one of the darkest and most influential works of 19th century literature.

    Maldoror, Commendation of A Metamorphosis is staged at a 300m² scene installation and features a solo performance by actor/dancer Chris Radanov on the eternal "black swan".  At the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation until June 11.

    • Vom Photo @ Thessaloniki
      A photo exhibition on the art of photography itself is hosted at the Photography Museum of Thessaloniki.

      The artistic dimensions of photography, the relationship between photography and cinema, as well as the artistic approach to photography books are among the issues addressed by this self-referential exhibition on the photographic medium.The exhibition is held in cooperation with Goethe Institute and the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and will run until July 8.
