Athens’ very first park dedicated solely to skateboarding opened this winter and is now gearing for a busy summer season. Our Park was created by an NGO by the same name in collaboration with the City of Athens. Our Park NGO advocates the use of free public spaces for promoting urban sports through public and private sector partnerships.

The park was built in a 43,000 square feet zone in the centre of Athens. It was designed by a group of volunteers, who took advice from professional skaters, and funded by sponsors and donations. Besides skateboarding amateurs from across Athens, the park also hosts sports events, skateboarding contests, concerts and various cultural events.
