The Piraeus Port Authority (OLP) on September 15 announced that it would hold an open tender for the transformation of its former exhibition centre into a modern five-star hotel.
The project is linked to the construction of a nearby conference and exhibition centre, the expansion of the port’s cruise ship facilities, as well as the development of a new pleasure craft marina in the area. The tender is to take place on December 15, 2010.
