Alternate Foreign Minister, Dimitris Droutsas, met with His All Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew I, during the Minister’s visit in Turkey (August 31st- September 1st). He also visited the exhibition "Tracing Istanbul" hosted at the Ecumenical Patriarchate’s Halki Seminary and the Sismanoglio Megaro.
While in Ankara, Droutsas attended the basketball game between the Greek and Turkish national teams for the first round of the 2010 FIBA World Championship, following an invitation by his Turkish counterpart Ahmed Davutoglu.
