EXHIBITIONS
The AthensArt 2010 international art exhibition titled "Friendship through art can change the world" is taking place on the grounds of Technopolis until September 15.
Over 250 artists from 50 countries participate in the event and exhibit their work.
Photo Exhibition
A photo exhibition titled "Muslim World Caught: between Imaginary and Reality" -organised by the Thessaloniki Museum of Photography and M55 Project Gallery- will be hosted at the Piraeus Bank Conference Centre, in Thessaloniki.
Six photo-stories outlining identity and character in the Muslim world form the collection, which will be on display until the September 22. The exhibition will be inaugurated on September 10 by Deputy Foreign Minister Spiros Kouvelis.

Nureyev tribute
A special gala dedicated to the memory of the legendary ballet dancer Rudolf Nureyev, tracing his career from the Kirov Ballet to the Royal Ballet and the Paris Opera Ballet, will take place at the Herodes Atticus Odeon, on September 13.

Placebo fans rejoice!
Placebo fans rejoice!
The alternative rock band Placebo returns to Greece for two gigs : at the Earth Theatre in Thessaloniki on the 10th, and at the Terra Vibe Park in Athens on September 11.
La vie en Rose
After three sold-out performances at the Athens Concert Hall last January, the Athenian audience may enjoy once more the musical theatre performance of Life in Pink and Black on the life of the legendary Edith Piaf at the Lycabettus Theatre, on September 15.
Emma Shapplin @ Lycabettus Theatre
Another favourite with the Athenian audience, singer Emma Shapplin will appear at the Lycabettus Theatre on September 14.
