The 2nd International Health Film Festival is running from September 1 to 6 on the island of Kos - the birthplace of the ancient Greek physician Hippocrates, who lived during Greece’s Classical period and is traditionally regarded as the father of medicine.
The festival - seeking to establish itself as a meeting place for members of the international health community - offers artists and the audience the opportunity to view, discuss and appreciate creative audiovisual works on health and prevention.
The five-day festival includes a competition with screenings of films on health issues from all over the world, that will compete for the three prizes of the festival – a gold, silver and bronze "Ippokratis."
