  • Music Village @ Pelion Mt.
Agios Lavrentios is a village on Mount Pelio, in Thessaly. Its preserved architectural style, the rich network of cobbled streets, the total absence of cars, and its natural location in a dense forest of beech, olive, and chestnut trees create the sensation of a place unchanged throughout the centuries.

A cultural event known as the "Music Village" is held there annually under the auspices of the Prefecture of Magnesia, the Municipality of Artemida and the people of Agios Lavrentios from August 2 to 31.
  • Jazz Festival @ Tinos Island

The second edition of the Tinos Jazz Festival – organised by the Cultural Foundation of Tinos – is taking place on August 26 to 29, featuring bands from Greece and other European countries. Moreover, the Foundation is organizing Summer Jazz Masterclasses in partnership with the Conservatorium van Amsterdam to be held on July 13 to 18 on the premises of the Cultural Foundation of Tinos.
  • Classical Music by the Sea

The sea and classical music may just be the perfect combination for breezy summer nights. Two island festivals, one just a short distance from Athens, on Aegina and the other on Samos in the eastern Aegean, both organised by well-known Greek pianists, have been offering audiences the magical treat of quality classical and contemporary music in a relaxing atmosphere by the sea.

Manolis Kalomiris Festival on Samos, dedicated to the great 20th-century composer, is embarking upon its 14th outing this summer. As for Aegina, having come a long way since its tentative 2006 debut, the Aegina International Music Festival will open its doors on August 6 until 21.
