  • The World’s Libraries
Browsing the library catalogues of the most famous libraries around the world, the visitor may notice that the largest category of bibliographic items refers to Greek books. In the Sorbonne University’s library alone, some 20,000 items are registered. Most of the entries date back to the Renaissance era, which inaugurated a revitalized interest for the Greek studies.

  •  Greek Studies & Libraries
It is not uncommon for a university library to boast a vast collection of Greek bibliography. Approximately 450 "academic enclaves" of Greek studies attract students to universities from around the world. A hefty number (approximately 200) of those enclaves focus exclusively on Modern Greek studies.
