ECOFILMS UNDERWAY
The Ecofilms International Films and Visual Arts Festival takes place from June 22 to 27, on the island of Rhodes.
The event is organized by the non-profit association Image and Environment and the Rodos Cultural Organisation.
Participating films include documentaries, shorts and features from around the world, with environmental and ecology themes. Prizes are awarded to films for innovative approaches to conservation, for daring proposals in their field and overall artistic quality.

WORLD REFUGEE DAY
World Refugee Day is on June 20. Since its formation by the United Nations General Assembly on December 14, 1950, the United Nations High Commission for Refugees has helped an estimated 50 million refugees restart their lives.

EUROPEAN MUSIC DAY
The 11th edition of European Music Day in Greece - the country’s biggest open air, entrance-free musical gathering and a true celebration dedicated to music - is opening today and runs through June 21.
More than 350 artists and musicians perform in 22 cities all over Greece, including Athens, Volos, Ikaria, Chania, and Mykonos. Participating musicians are from France, UK, Switzerland, Denmark, Hungary, to mention a few. European Music Day: Programme
