The first Greek Dolphinarium has opened its doors on the premises of the Attica Zoological Park in Spata, following the arrival of four dolphins from Lithuania and two sea lions from Spain.
The public now has the opportunity to watch these highly intelligent mammals interacting with each other.
In fact, the observation of these lovable creatures has several benefits, including a therapeutic influence on autistic children.
The dolphinarium collaborates with the Dutch company Savewave – specializing in ecologically viable solutions in the water environment – in designing special apparatus attached to fishing nets for the safety of dolphins.
