The European Jazz Festival in Athens is celebrating its 10th anniversary from May 21 to 30.

The festival - which is being staged at the Technopolis venue, in collaboration with the embassies and the cultural institutes of European Union member states- will feature 25 of the best known jazz ensembles.

Three concerts a day will be held during the festival, beginning at 21:00.
Greek bands will be performing from May 21 to 25 while the European band part of the festival will open on 25 May with a special programme by one of the top jazz orchestras, the City of Athens Big Band, accompanied by Natasha Bofiliou.
