A photo competition on Athenian springtime balconies was under way throughout May and is now coming to an end with a charming exhibition showcasing the best photos.

Urban action group Atenistas has called on Athens residents to take part in a photo safari in search of the city’s most charming balconies. The result was more than 1,000 images of blooming spring balconies, colourful family verandas, neoclassical terraces and much more.

 The top 50 photos, as selected by the competition committee, will be presented on June 9 and 10 at the CAMP! Gallery in Athens. The two winning entries will be announced on the last day’s celebrative part/concert.
