A 12-hour-long festival of solidarity with the Greek people, titled Twelve Hours For Greece, will be hosted tomorrow (May 16) in Brussels.

From 10 a.m. until midnight, Belgian citizens will be gathering at Les Halles de Schaerbeek to show their support for the Greek people and raise money for The Smile of the Child, a Greek NGO dedicated to taking care of children in need.

The event will feature a twelve hour Homer-reading marathon by Brussels citizens, discussion panels and performances, as well as a concert by Popular Greek songwriter Dionysis Savvopoulos. This event is part of the Odyssey’s Marathon, a campaign aiming at promoting Greek culture in Belgium.
