An initiative aimed to encourage residents and visitors alike to dine and wine in downtown Athens thus breathing new life into the city centre has been put forward by the City of Athens. The scheme Let’s Go Out in Athens, beginning today, will be running on a pilot basis for 4 weeks, every Tuesday, until June 5.

Participating restaurants will be offering a special menu for € 10, while coffee and alcoholic drinks will be priced at € 2 and € 5 respectively. In addition, the City of Athens is organizing parallel music events in central locations. Kathimerini: Campaign to boost wining and dining downtown
