The Euroleague Final Four tournament, Europe’s top basketball event for 2012, starts today in Istanbul, with the Greece’s leading two basketball clubs, Panathinaikos Athens and Olympiacos Piraeus, competing for the title.
Reigning champion and six-time winner Panathinaikos clashes with CSKA Moscow at the first semifinal, while former Euroleague champion and six-time finalist Olympiacos plays against Barcelona at the second semi-final. The 2012 European Champion will be crowned after the big final on the evening of May 13, with the third place match earlier on the same day.
